So England is our true home and therefore anything I say about this blessed country is obviously going to be biased, but following our many years of world travel, I think we can now comment objectively on the place. In short, the UK has its good points and bad like any place in the world.

Growing up in your home country, I think you generally tend to take it for granted ... "you can't see the wood for the trees". For example, we have been to London many times, yet we've never felt compelled to take pictures of its many great sights, hence the lack of standard UK stories and pictures on this site.

We would say that the travel and adventure highlights of this great country are mostly outside its main cities. Take the time to explore and you'll be richly rewarded. Still on the must-do list are the Highlands of Scotland and the coastal delights of Northern Island.
