Home of the siesta, paella, bull-fights and much more. Spain is an interesting contrast to its neighbour France. The hot weather throughout most of the country definitely dictates the pace of life ... nobody is in a rush to do anything too quickly for fear of a sweat moustache.

We've visited a couple of places so far which make it on to the Grundlefly site. Madrid was very impressive and perfectly suited to a short city break. Teba is a sleepy little village in the Andalusian hills and there's some beautiful sights to be seen on a roadtrip around this area.

A couple of places not featured include Barcelona and Ibiza which we've also visited. Again, very enjoyable places, both adding to Spain's warm and sociable atmosphere.

Another trip which would probably be an eye-opener is the crazy bull-running fiesta that is held in the town of Pamplona in early July. Something for the itinerary if you're in this neck of the woods during early summer.
