The U.S. state of Nevada doesn't have a huge amount to brag about in terms of sightseeing, but when it comes to casinos and excessiveness, it wins hands down.

We made a couple of trips here, both very enjoyable. Aside from the casinos and stage shows which are well publicised, Vegas has a lot of smaller attractions too like the Las Vegas Gun Range where you can fire off a few rounds with a Magnum or an Uzi; or there's the little known Las Vegas Ski Resort just north of the city which is big enough for learning or tweaking your technique.
Our last visit was to celebrate the marriage of our good friends Roly and Sooze. They wed in the Rolls-Royce of locations, the Bellagio, with perfect weather and an excellent turnout from family and friends.
