What an amazing place! Nowhere else in the world will you find a region with so much visual and cultural diversity in such a confined space. Europe is a traveller's dream. The European rail-pass seems to be a popular way to get a taste of many countries in one trip, but a car gives you a lot more flexibiilty.

Granted, there's some spectacular places in the world, and maybe were a little bit biased being English, but this is where we see ourselves settling. The major downside in northern Europe is its weather, and it seems to be getting worse. But you know what they say, there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.

We've had a fair crack at seeing Europe, but still many, many more places to discover. Our next wish list includes Scandanavia, eastern Europe, Iceland, bareboat yacht charter in Croatia and island hopping in Greece ... watch this space!
